How do I select EDI-C runtime version?

Runtime version can be configured in scheduled task, routing and execute.

The runtime version selected in a routing step will be used for all execute steps that are targets in the routing step.

When a runtime version is selected in an execute step it will used when the execute step is executed outside of a routing step. I.e. when the execute step is triggered by a schedule or placed as target from an input adapter.
