Basics

WISM is available via your web browser after the server has been started. The default URL is http://[ip or server name]:24780/.

WISM should only be exposed to your local network.

To access WISM you need a modern web browser, for example Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge.

WISM has been developed with touch devices in mind and should work on your phone or tablet. Some functionality might however be limited.

When browsing WISM the browser URL will reflect your current view. That means you can share the URL with colleagues to link to a specific view, item and transaction.

 

Layout

In the top left is the main menu button. This is where you select a WISM page. Server version can be found in the bottom of the main menu.

Next to the main menu is the server alias. The server alias can be configured in System Configuration program on the server.

In the top right corner is the user menu where user settings can be accessed and next to it there is a notification area where notifications from activity monitor will be displayed.
